Well it’s Saturday morning and I’m ridiculously tired right now as I’m on-air on 2DayFM and I’ve been up since some silly hour. (I usually get up at 9am, so getting up at 4:30am really hurts.) My eyes look like tomatoes.
The show at CC’s in Campbelltown last night went great! Had an absolute ball and it was unreal sharing the stage with my great mate Steve Philp (who was a KILLER MC by the way) and Australian comedy legend, Steady Eddie. It was a fantastic crowd who all enjoyed it. I think the highlight of my set was something along the lines of the following dialogue:
Me: (to a couple) So is there anything about her that annoys you, or anything about him that annoys you? (of course I never expected either of them to honestly answer this question in front of 150 people)
Guy: Yeah, her feet smell.
Girl: (angrily) WHAT!?
Crowd: *cracks up laughing, lots of ooos and aaaaahs* (No-one could believe he said that…)
Me: Mate I dare-say her feet is probably the only part of her you’ll be seeing for a while…
Crowd *cracks up laughing again*
I don’t know if the girl saw the amusement we all did, as when we came back for the second half of the night, the couple were gone! They were probably having a big fight as she really didn’t look happy with him. Oh well, the rest of us enjoyed it so it was worth it. Good on him I say!!
Anyways, thanks for stopping by and I’ll post again next week – looking forward to the bunch of shows I have later this month!
