2009 UNDERWAY!

Not even sure if that is one word or two but YES – you heard it here first – 2009 has begun!!! And what a fantastic way to start than with all the glorious weather, tennis (yes, that’s right my man-crush on Roger Federer hasn’t subsided at all) and my first gig of the year last night at the Manly Boatshed! Bless the people at A-List for getting me back to one of Sydney’s most unpredictable venues – there’s always a couple of nerves when I play there, however last night went great!
Jimbo (a lovely bloke, and a comic who provides some of the strangest entertainment I have ever seen) was the headliner and had the crowd in stitches. Eric Hutton was the support act who really made me laugh when he was talking about having sex with a black hole and how dense it would be. I didn’t really get it then, and I still don’t now but it was funny.
Other than that, there’s not too much to talk about. I’m going to Nihon (Japan for all you English speaking dorks) for 3 weeks in February to eat whale and go skiing and then eat more whale. No doubt I will have plenty of stories and hopefully will bring enough whale back for everyone.
Thanks for checking in and do so again soon! You know I love you, deeply. Actually, more than I love Roger Federer’s backhand……………… Ok, maybe not that much. Geeze it’s a good backhand.
